Who are we? What do ScndHndBks do? Would you believe we have a whole page dedicated to our story? Well it’s true!
The short of it is we’re a team of two booksellers who wanted to create a space where good folk like yourself could browse for second hand children’s and YA books. The long of it can be found by clicking the button below!

All of our books are sourced from charity shops - often being saved from being sent to a landfill - and are hand picked by our team.

our mission: To close the loop on book lifespans
many books end up in landfills, unable to be recycled. We find books in the wild, rehab them, and find them new homes. Sustainability is at the forefront of what we do, driven by a passion for children’s and young adult literature.
